GRP Walers are used with backing boards (GRP Sheets) in order to create a lightweight fully boarded shoring system.

GRP Walers allow you to create safe excavations up to 2.0m deep with widths from 0.62m to 2.0m. The frames can be installed continuously for an infinite trench length.

A GRP Waler & Backboard system differs from a Rail system in that the Walers run horizontal, whereas the rails run vertically. This means that when used with backboards a fully enclosed GRP Trench shoring system can be created.
