Please bear in mind that Corten Steel, also known as weathering steel, exhibits a quicker rusting process compared to our Rustic Patina Raw Steel option. While Corten Steel develops its unique patina within 6 to 9 months, Raw Steel continues to rust up until approximately 12 months when exposed to the elements. Both options yield similar rusted aesthetics, but Corten Steel offers a higher quality finish and is commonly used in long-lasting construction projects.

To cater to your needs, we offer two options for your planter's appearance. Opt for our Pre-Weathered option, where our team applies a Weathering Solution to your planter before delivery, resulting in a fully developed patina upon arrival. Alternatively, choose our Weather-Ready option, where your planter is delivered with its steel intact, ready to naturally weather and develop its patina over time.

Please note that during the natural weathering process, runoff from rainwater and watering may stain the surface beneath the planter. This is particularly prominent within the first 6 months of weathering.
