Temporary Fence Panel - Anti-Climb Round Top, 2.4m High x 2.5m Wide
Anti-climb temporary fence panel, 2400mm high x 2500mm wide, with 250 x 50.8mm mesh in a round top tubular frame. At 12.265kg it is easy to handle, and it suits site perimeters, demolition works and events that need more height than a 2m panel. Used with rubber fence feet and fence couplers.
This anti-climb temporary fence panel is 2400mm high and 2500mm wide, with 250 x 50.8mm mesh infill in a round top tubular frame. It stands 400mm taller than the standard 2000mm panel and is narrower than the 3.5m-wide version, so it suits perimeters that need extra height. It belongs to the family of mesh panels often called Heras fencing.
The 2500mm width gives about four panels per 10m run, against about three of the 3.5m panels, so a run needs more fence feet and fence couplers. In return, each panel weighs 12.265kg, which keeps manual handling manageable, and the shorter panel is easier to stack, transport and fit around corners and tight runs.
- Size: 2400mm high x 2500mm wide
- Mesh: anti-climb infill with a 250 x 50.8mm aperture, which makes climbing harder while keeping a view through the fence line
- Frame: 1.2mm round top tubular frame, with fewer welded corner joints than a square top panel
- Weight: 12.265kg per panel
- Fixing: stands in rubber fence feet, with adjacent panels joined by fence couplers
Setting up a fence run
Each panel is set in rubber fence feet, and neighbouring panels are clamped together with fence couplers to form a continuous line. A 2.4m panel presents a larger face than a 2m panel, so ground conditions, exposure and the fence layout should be assessed before installation. Fence stabilisers or other additional support may be needed, and fencing is temporary works, so the arrangement should follow your temporary works design. The panel is not intended for permanent security fencing or vehicle-impact protection.
Standard 2m anti-climb panels, half height panels, powder-coated panels and pedestrian and vehicle gates are also available in the HERMEQ range of temporary fencing, for runs that mix heights or need access points.
Typical uses
Building sites, demolition works, highways and utilities projects, civil engineering works, events and festivals, and temporary operational compounds. The panels can be taken down and repositioned as the site boundary or working layout changes.

How many panels do I need for a 10m run?
Divide the run length by the 2.5m panel width, which gives about four panels per 10m. The standard 3.5m panel needs about three, so the taller 2.5m panels need more fence feet and fence couplers over the same distance.
Does a 2.4m panel need extra support?
It can. The panel has a larger face than a 2m panel, so ground conditions, exposure and the layout of the run should be assessed. Fence stabilisers or further support may be required, and the arrangement should follow your temporary works design.
When would I choose this panel over the standard 2m panel?
When the perimeter needs more height than 2000mm. The 2500mm width also makes the panel easier to handle and stack, and it fits corners and short runs more easily than the 3.5m-wide panel.
Does a temporary fence panel satisfy site perimeter requirements?
In Great Britain, the principal contractor must take reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised access. HSE guidance says that in populated areas this typically means a two-metre high small mesh fence or hoarding. This is context only: no compliance claim is made for this panel, so confirm the requirements for your site with the principal contractor.
Can it be used as permanent fencing or to stop vehicles?
No. It is a temporary anti-climb mesh panel, not suitable for permanent security fencing or vehicle-impact protection.
