CableSafe safety hooks hold cables, hoses and small equipment off the floor, which clears trip hazards from walkways, stairs and access routes. This glow in the dark version is moulded in glass reinforced polyester, so the hooks do not conduct electricity or heat, and the glow finish keeps them easy to see on night shifts and in enclosed or poorly lit areas.
Four sizes are available, from 152mm (6 inch) to 381mm (15 inch). The smaller hooks suit lighter power leads and hoses, while the 305mm (12 inch) and 381mm (15 inch) hooks are intended for heavier cabling. They are sold in batches of 25 units and carry a 3 year warranty.

Material and construction
Glass reinforced polyester keeps the hooks light enough to carry in quantity and reposition as the work moves on, without the weight of a metal fitting. Because the material is non-conductive, the hooks suit use near electrical installations and in refinery or plant environments where a conductive hook would be a concern.
Choosing a size
The load figures are static loads for each size. Add up the weight of the cables or hoses hung on each hook and choose a size with a rating above that total, moving up a size where the run is heavy or the hook is spaced widely.
Typical uses
On construction and infrastructure sites the hooks lift temporary power and hoses clear of walkways where several trades share the same routes. They are also used in oil, gas and petrochemical plant, shipyards and offshore installations, and in warehouses and logistics facilities. Maintenance and installation teams use them to rail cables temporarily across a site, and the glow finish helps where work continues after dark or in enclosed spaces.

What are cable safety hooks used for?
They lift cables, hoses and small equipment off the ground, which reduces trip hazards on walkways and access routes across construction and industrial sites.
Do the hooks conduct electricity?
No. They are made from glass reinforced polyester, which does not conduct electricity or heat, so they suit use near electrical installations.
Which size should I choose?
Choose by the combined weight of the cables or hoses on each hook. The static loads are 40kg for the 152mm (6 inch) hook, 55kg for 229mm (9 inch), 190kg for 305mm (12 inch) and 265kg for 381mm (15 inch).
Where does the glow in the dark finish help?
It keeps the hooks and the cables they carry easier to see on night shifts, in enclosed workspaces and in any area with limited lighting.
How are the hooks supplied?
They are sold in batches of 25 units and come with a 3 year warranty.
