We would recommend that you follow the advice of your Temporary Works Engineer or Site Engineer when using Push Pull Props to ensure that the correct product is used for the application.
Push-pull props are designed and manufactured as aids to support concrete wall sections against wind loads and similar applications – they are NOT suitable for use in heavy load propping applications. There are NO KNOWN applications where push-pull props can be used safely as vertical or horizontal primary supports for high-load structures. For props, please click here.
Push-pull props must be installed strictly as per the engineers’ directions and the design drawings which must be prepared specifically for the task(s) at hand. Manufactured to BS4074.
