The MultiPercher is a steel overhead anchorage for temporary fall arrest, used where a suitable structure is available to take the mounting. An articulated upper arm, 2.50m long, holds the anchor point above the working area so that compatible fall arrest PPE can be connected overhead. The Primary Body stands 3.33m high and weighs 36.5kg, and the 130 adaptor supplied with every standard configuration raises the anchor point by a further 1.30m.
Four mounting configurations cover concrete floors, vertical concrete faces, structural steel and new pours. Each can be supplied with or without a 6m TORQ Lite retractable fall arrest, so the same anchorage works for contractors who already hold their own fall arrest equipment and for those who want everything in one package.
- Primary Body: 3.33m high x 2.15m wide, central post Ø76.1 x 3.6mm S355 steel
- 130 adaptor: 1.85m overall height, 13.5kg, Ø88.9 x 3.2mm S235 receiver
- Breakaway joint: the upper arm includes a sacrificial joint intended to protect the wider structure under increased loading
- Finish: protective paint/coating system on all steel components
- Reuse: modular construction that can be moved between compatible prepared mounting points
Choosing a mounting option
The floor socket (approx. Ø350mm x 510mm high, 12.5kg) bolts down to suitable horizontal concrete. Where the slab edge or a vertical face is the only option, the wall/side socket (220 x 150 x 600mm high, 8.5kg) fixes to a suitable concrete structure instead. On steel-framed buildings the I-beam bracket (550 x 220 x 600mm high, 14kg) clamps to suitable structural steel sections without drilling.
For concrete frames, sacrificial cast-in sockets (Ø89mm x 500mm high, 1.2kg each) are set into the pour to leave prepared mounting points at the positions you need. The cast-in configuration includes 10 sockets, and the MultiPercher is then lifted from one socket to the next as the work progresses.
Standard and TORQ Lite versions
A standard version includes the Primary Body, the 130 adaptor and the selected socket or bracket. The TORQ Lite versions add a 6m retractable fall arrest device to the same package. The MultiPercher is a separate product from the trailer-mounted MultiPercher systems (single and double) and from the System S fall arrest safety nets, which suit different edge and access situations.
Typical uses include formwork installation and removal, work around slab edges on concrete frames, structural steel erection, fitting guardrails and safety nets, and inspection or maintenance tasks where no permanent anchorage exists.

Which mounting option suits my site?
It depends on the structure. The floor socket needs suitable horizontal concrete and the wall/side socket needs a suitable vertical concrete face. The I-beam bracket clamps to structural steel sections, and the cast-in sockets are for concrete that has not yet been poured.
Are the cast-in sockets reusable?
No. They are sacrificial and stay in the concrete once it has been poured. The MultiPercher itself lifts out and moves to the next socket. The cast-in configuration includes 10 sockets, so mounting points can be prepared at several positions.
What does the 130 adaptor do?
It fits between the selected socket and the Primary Body and raises the anchor point by approximately 1.3m. It is included with every standard configuration.
What is the difference between the standard and TORQ Lite versions?
The standard version supplies the anchorage only, so you connect your own compatible fall arrest PPE. The TORQ Lite version also includes a 6m retractable fall arrest device.
Does the structure need checking before installation?
Yes. The floor, wall, steel section or slab must be suitable for the chosen socket or bracket, and a competent person should confirm this before use.
