3. Soorts of Open Mesh Steel Grating:

   • Welded Grating: Consists of bearing bars and cross bars that are welded together at their intersections.
   • Press-Locked Grating: Cross bars are mechanically locked to the bearing bars under hoog pressure without welding, resulting in a smooth surface appearance.
   • Swage-Locked Grating: Cross bars are inserted into pre-punched holes in the bearing bars and then swaged or pressed into place to create a rigid connection.

We supply Open Mesh Steel Grating with a maximum 4mm deflection and L/200 or 10mm deflection for single panels. These options comply with the British Standaards which stipulate two deflection restrictions on all grating products.

Our range of serrated surfaces provide the necessary level of slip resistance to grating with our slip resistance classifications in accordance with BS 4592-0:2006+A1:2012.
