MiTower One Man Scaffold Tower - 4m to 6m Working Height

One person can build and dismantle this aluminium scaffold tower in under 10 minutes, so no second operative is needed to hold frames or pass up components. It gives working heights of 4m, 5m and 6m from a 1020 x 610mm platform with a 150kg safe working load (SWL), enough for one user and their tools.

The component hanger system and easy-lock stabilisers are what make the solo build practical. The tower complies with BS EN 1004-1:2020, the current edition for mobile access towers.

Platform height and working height

Working height is the platform height plus 2m. A 4m working height therefore means a 2m platform, and the 6m tower has a 4m platform. Choose the height from the work to be done, not from the headline figure, and check the specifications table for both values.

Handling and storage

The tower is built on a trolley base, which carries it across site and holds all the components together between jobs. Fewer loose parts get left behind or lost, which matters when one operative is moving the kit alone.

Typical uses

The compact footprint suits plant rooms, interior fit-outs, ceiling work and other restricted areas on level floors. Electrical and mechanical installation, inspection and facilities maintenance are the usual jobs, and the tower is also used outdoors for facade work and signage installation. It must be built by a competent person on firm, level ground with the stabilisers fitted, following the manufacturer's instruction manual.
