Diversion Signs

Well placed & informative diversion signs are incredibly important if the normal routes for motorists are blocked or altered. This is key for both the driver, to ensure that they can reach their intended destination without too much difficulty, but also for controlling traffic flow in the immediate area of the road works.

Without clear directions, motorists can easily become lost or take an inappropriate route which can result in high levels of traffic on routes that are not equipped to deal with such traffic flow.

It is important to use diversion ahead road signs to give plenty of warning to drivers that there is a diversion in place. Once diverted off the standard route drivers should be given accurate directions using Diversion Left & Diversion Right traffic signs to direct them to a preassigned route.

The Diversion Ends road sign is used to tell drivers that they are back on the standard route and that there are no further diversions in place immediately ahead of them.
