Heavy Duty Pipe Trolley (Demountable Legs)

Created specifically for the safe transportation of pipes, rods, and tubing, the Heavy Duty Pipe Trolley (Demountable Legs) holds items in place using its pipe holding legs.

Each pipe leg has four pairs of lateral supports, allowing large numbers of pipes to be moved in a single trip. Each support has a length of 335mm, a gap of 180mm between them, and a steel thickness of 2.5mm.

The two legs are also detachable. This a fantastic feature that comes in handy when moving items of an unusual nature that would not fit conventional pipe trolleys with fixed legs.

If a pipe trolley with non-detachable legs would be better suited for your requirements, HERMEQ also offers a Heavy Duty Pipe Trolley of the same design as this, but with legs permanently attached to the trolley.

When fitted with the standard pipe trolley castors, the Heavy Duty Pipe Trolley can carry up to 750kg when the pipes, rods, or tubes are correctly loaded. However, if the trolley needs to carry heavier loads, castor upgrades are available for a higher cost upon request.

The standard castors present on the Heavy Duty Pipe Trolley can rotate 360° and can also be locked using individual locks, a safety feature that is guaranteed to prevent accidents in the workplace.

Although the Pipe Trolley is better suited for use in warehouses and on building sites, the trolley can also be used in other environments, for example, for the transportation of carpet rolls or to help complete tasks in the horticulture sector.

If you would benefit from a different sized Pipe Trolley to the one advertised, HERMEQ can supply trolleys made to your specified dimensions. The Heavy Duty Pipe Trolley is also available with forklift pockets that can be added upon request. Although this will make the trolley suitable for use with forklift trucks, it is worth noting that neither version should be transported via crane.

As with numerous other products available for purchase on HERMEQ, the Heavy Duty Pipe Trolley has a blue paint finish as standard. This finish is not a protective coating. If you require a coating with additional protection, powder coating or galvanised steel options are available.
