Machined Half Round Stakes

Machined Half Round Stakes are typically used for setting up wire fencing lines in agricultural environments.

The posts are lightweight and easy to install – they can either be fitted into a round post holder and fastened with screws, or having the pre-shaped pointed base of the post hammered into soft ground using a mallet.

The timber has been pressure treated to UC4 Standard to prevent rot, decay and insect infestation. The wood panel ages beautifully over time.

The timber posts have been standard incised to improve durability and reduce stress in outdoor conditions. Incising is a pre-treatment mechanical process where sharp steel teeth are pressed into all sides of the timber to force preservative chemicals deep into the cellular structure of the wood for maximum lifespan.

Timber is one of the few natural and renewable building materials and is more environmentally friendly than emission-intensive steel, aluminium and concrete with a lower net environmental impact.
