A semi-automatic defibrillator that requires a push of the button to deliver shocks once the device has determined if a shock is needed. The shock is delivered in less than 6 seconds from the completion of CPR. This semi-automatic defibrillator is used for individuals who are in cardiac arrest. With 2 modes available for adults and children as young as 1+ the semi-automatic defibrillator can be used on individuals of all ages. Comes in a vibrant orange carry case with pre-connected pads and a rescue kit consisting of patient wipes, nitrile gloves, prep razor, face shield and scissors.

Details

The semi-automatic defibrillator sends electric shocks to the heart when the button on the device is pushed. The defibrillator detects for any irregular heart rhythms and shock them back to normal rhythms when the device is pressed. Unlike automatic defibrillators where the device sends shocks as soon as the irregular heartbeat is detected the semi-automatic shock is only distributed when activated, giving more control over when the victim is shocked and allowing bystanders to stand back in time.

With 2 modes: adult and child, this defibrillator is a functional piece of equipment that adapts to the patient. The shock required for a child is much lower than an adult, however by simply switching the modes and using the set of smart child pads included, the defibrillator can save the lives adequately of any patient, regardless of age. The shock delivery is distributed in less than 6 seconds from the completion of CPR.

The defibrillator comes equipped with a rescue kit which includes:

Tough Cut Scissor

The defibrillator itself is carried inside a robust carry case with a vivid orange frame with a set of electrode pads and one set pre- connected to it. One for adults and the other for use on children as young as age 1+. A lithium manganese oxide battery is included, which is disposable. The battery is expected to last up to five years (in standby).
